I used to feel that PCG’s doctrines were biblically sound, their warning message was from God, and through them, God was offering protection during the Great Tribulation.
That reasoning kept me in that “church” for over 20 years. It ruined my life–broke up family, stifled my career advancement, prevented me from buying a home, and almost prematurely ended my life–I ended up in hospital, only days away from literal death as I refused seeking medical intervention sooner.
Over the years, I noticed that things didn’t add up but I chose to ignore them. I had questions about their prophecies but was told to put them on the shelf. I saw many prophetic failures (and revisions), saw so many lives cut short (due to lack of medical intervention), saw them dive into conspiracy theories, saw the lavish lives on the HQ ministers, experienced the emotional and spiritual abuse from the ministry, saw the lack of compassion they have for the world, and witnessed their overall conceit and arrogance. The list goes on.
Read Matthew 7:15-20. This is an apt description of the PCG and their ministry:
“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.”
Gerald Flurry is a false prophet, his ministers are ravening wolves, and their works are corrupt.
Gerald Flurry started the Philadelphia Church of God on a corrupt foundation. He got his ideas for Malachi’s Message from Jules Dervaes. He portrayed this book as a message from God, then he revised that book at least a dozen times since it was first published, he was an alcoholic who tried to bribe a police officer when he got caught drink driving1, he has scammed so many people into donating to his work (including leaving their estates), he uses guilt and mind games to control his followers. He has no regard for the countless lives he has destroyed.
If you think these people are from God or they can save you during the Great Tribulation, you are gravely mistaken!
I pray that you take heed from my experience and the testimonies found on this website, that you spare yourself the abuse and pain that so many have experienced at the hands this “church.” Nothing good can come out of them–they are nothing more than a cult! And Gerald Flurry is nothing more than a conniving, heartless charlatan.
